Voronoi Nightlight

Description

A spherical Voronoi night light. Put it in a corner and casts cool patterns on the walls. I printed the sphere on an raft with the model buried into the build plate by 1mm. I was actually surprised that it printed as well as it did. There was some very minor stringing right at the top but really not much, I printed the base with no supports and it came out fine. Again there was a little stringing that was easily removed. The LED strip I used is SMD 5050 12V. when slid into the slot of the base only the middle LED is visible. I guess a couple of drops of Super Glue would retain the strip effectively.

By the way, a big thanks to voronator.com who converted my .stl into a voronated model. It’s a free and easy to use site which I heartily recommend.
